Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic team, specializing in both residential and commercial construction projects. Duties Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Perform framing, drywall installation, stucco application, siding, and door hanging with precision. Fabricate custom fixtures, trim, cabinetry, and other woodwork components according to specifications. Conduct heavy lifting and material handling safely on construction sites while adhering to power tool safety protocols. Install flooring, tiles, moldings, rebar for reinforcement, and perform water damage restoration as needed. Support remodeling projects by installing fixtures, applying caulking or plastering, and executing restoration work with attention to detail. Requirements Proven experience in residential carpentry, commercial construction, or related fields with a strong understanding of construction estimating and site management. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills, saws for woodworking; woodworking machines; metal stud framing tools; drywall cutters; tile saws; and other relevant equipment. Knowledge of wood construction materials like plywood, studs, siding materials; as well as masonry or sheet metal application is preferred. Familiarity with construction site safety practices including power tool safety standards. Experience in framing (including metal studs), drywall installation & finishing, flooring installation, trim carpentry & fixture installation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining quality standards during demanding tasks such as rebar installation or mold remediation. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding project requirements.
