Monday-Friday | No weekends | No on-call or emergency work Position Overview A Team Home Services is seeking an experienced Carpenter & Handyman Installer to complete residential carpentry, handyman, repair, and remodeling projects throughout the Greater Austin area. This is a hands-on, production-focused role completing projects that have already been sold and scoped. We're looking for a versatile craftsman with strong residential construction experience who can work independently, follow project plans, and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship. What You'll Do Complete residential carpentry, handyman, repair, and remodeling projects Perform hands-on installation work for kitchen and bathroom remodels Install doors, trim, baseboards, hardware, shelving, cabinetry, vanities, countertops, fixtures, and other residential components Build, repair, and install fences, decks, patios, outdoor living spaces, and other exterior carpentry and home improvement projects Complete demolition, framing adjustments, structural repairs, and finish carpentry Perform drywall repairs including patching, tape and float work, and texture matching Complete interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, caulking, and finish work Accurately measure, cut, and install materials with precision Follow project plans, scopes of work, specifications, and company quality standards Coordinate with project leads and other trades to keep projects moving efficiently Communicate project progress, material needs, and jobsite issues to supervisors Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Required Qualifications 5+ years of residential carpentry, remodeling, maintenance, or handyman experience Strong interior and exterior carpentry skills, including finish carpentry, repairs, and installations Experience with drywall repair, painting, and other residential repair and finish work Experience with demolition, framing, and remodeling work Strong knowledge of hand and power tools Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials to within 1/16 inch Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic measurements/math Ability to read and follow project scopes, plans, and specifications Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine practical solutions Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with project leads and other trades Comfortable working inside occupied residential homes Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and maintain project timelines Open availability Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM-6:00 PM, with the flexibility to stay through completion of the day's scheduled work Valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Ability to lift at least 55 pounds and follow company safety procedures Ability to document work performed and communicate project progress, material needs, or jobsite issues Compensation & Growth $60,000-$100,000+ annual earning potential Performance and productivity-based compensation Ongoing training and development Opportunities for advancement as A Team Home Services continues to grow Benefits After 90 Days Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Paid Sick Time Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) option Company vehicle for eligible field employees Ongoing training and development Why Work With Us At A Team Home Services, you'll join a growing, locally owned home services company known for quality workmanship, dependable service, and integrity.
