The pay is between $25 and $35 per hour based on experience. Per Diem and housing are available for this position if relocating. This position works full-time Monday-Friday 6:00 AM- 5:00 PM, with some overtime and weekend work available based on the needs of the business.
Position Summary:
We are seeking reliable and skilled Carpenters and Carpenter Helpers to construct, install, and repair structures and components using wood and other materials. This role requires precision in measuring and cutting, the ability to interpret blueprints and instructions, and a strong commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with concrete, particularly in formwork and structural applications. The Carpenters and Carpenter Helpers will work collaboratively with a team to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with all safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Construct, install, and repair frameworks and structures using wood and other building materials Perform concrete formwork, including building and setting forms for pours Assist with concrete placement, finishing, and related tasks as needed Accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials according to project specifications Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and written instructions Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards Follow all workplace safety guidelines and regulations Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Qualifications:
Proven experience in carpentry, particularly in framing and structural work Some experience with concrete work, including form carpentry or concrete placement Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Strong measuring and cutting skills with attention to detail Proficiency in the safe use of hand and power tools Must have own basic hand tools Bilingual or Spanish fluency is a plus Ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong work ethic and reliability Willingness to undergo a drug screening as part of onboarding Ability to work a full-time schedule, typically Monday through
Friday Physical Requirements:
This position involves regular physical activity, including: Standing for prolonged periods. Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching. Pushing and pulling heavy objects. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
