Job Description

Project Construction Lead (Handyman, Carpenter, Superintendent) We are looking for a dependable, experienced, and hands-on Project Construction Lead to help oversee construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance projects. This position requires someone who can manage multiple responsibilities, communicate well with people, work independently, and handle both field work and office-related tasks . The right person must be comfortable overseeing projects while also stepping in to perform hands-on work when needed.
Responsibilities Include:
Oversee multiple construction, repair, renovation, and maintenance projects Manage and direct 1-2 labor hands Communicate professionally with owners, subcontractors, vendors, employees, and customers Obtain quotes, pricing, and bids for upcoming work Coordinate subcontractors, materials, scheduling, and project needs Provide project updates and recommendations to ownership Perform general carpentry, repair, handyman, punch-list, and cleanup work as needed Pick up, transport, and deliver construction materials Safely pull and maneuver a trailer Keep jobsites clean, organized, and progressing Troubleshoot jobsite problems and make sound decisions independently Answer phone calls and communicate with customers, vendors, and subcontractors Send and respond to professional emails Maintain basic project information, pricing, schedules, and documentation Use Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 , including Outlook, Word, and Excel Post project updates, available properties, or other company information on Facebook and social media Take and send jobsite photos and project updates as needed Assist with basic office and administrative tasks related to projects
Qualifications:
Construction, remodeling, carpentry, maintenance, or project-management experience preferred Must be comfortable working with your hands and managing projects Strong communication and people skills are required Must be able to speak professionally with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and customers Strong organization and multitasking skills Must be able to work independently and take initiative Comfortable supervising and directing a small crew Able to obtain pricing, compare quotes, and help prepare project estimates Must have basic to intermediate computer skills Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office programs, internet applications, and social media Must be able to answer and communicate professionally by phone Valid driver's license and good driving record required Must be able to safely pull a trailer Dependable, trustworthy, professional, and accountable Must be willing to perform physical work and jobsite cleanup when necessary What We Are Looking For This is not strictly an office position, and it is not strictly a labor position. We need someone who can run a project, communicate with people, use a computer, manage a small crew, work with subcontractors, pick up materials, and still be willing to grab a tool and help get the job finished. The ideal candidate is someone who sees what needs to be done and takes ownership of it. You should be able to communicate confidently with an owner or subcontractor, send an email or prepare project information, then head to the jobsite and help complete the work. We are looking for someone who is personable, organized, self-motivated, hands-on, dependable, and able to represent the company professionally.
Pay:
$31,200.00 - $41,600.00 per year
