Job Title:

Wood Fabricator Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wood Fabricator to join our client's production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing custom wood products, architectural elements, according to high-quality standards and blueprints. Key Responsibilities

Fabrication:

Cut, shape, and smooth wooden parts using power tools and machinery such as table saws, routers, lathes, planers, and sanders.

Technical Drawing Interpretation:

Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and sketches to ensure accurate construction.

Assembly:

Assemble wooden components using fasteners, adhesives, and jigs to form completed products.

Quality Control:

Inspect wood pieces for defects (warping, cracks) and ensure finished products meet design specifications and quality standards.

Machine Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning, oiling, and replacing worn blades.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in a shop environment. Required Qualifications

• Must be Able to read a tape measure.
• 1-5 years of experience in wood fabrication

Skills:

Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery and hand tools.

Technical Ability:

Strong understanding of wood joinery and materials.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 40-50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
