In this role, you will be responsible for transforming living spaces by executing high-quality carpentry work on a variety of residential projects. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute remodeling projects. Measure, cut, assemble, and install various wood, tile and metal components using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Perform framing tasks including metal stud framing and wood framing to support walls, ceilings, and floors. Install doors, windows, siding, drywall, flooring, trim, stucco, and fixtures with precision and care. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure construction plans are followed accurately while maintaining quality standards. Lift heavy materials safely during construction site activities and manage the handling of wood construction materials efficiently. Assist with remodeling projects by installing siding, flooring, drywall finishing, and other custom carpentry features. Contribute to the overall safety of the construction site by following established safety protocols at all times. Skills Comfortable with both rough and finish carpentry. Strong knowledge of residential carpentry techniques including framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation. Ability to accurately use a tape measure, level, saws, and common construction tools. Knowledge of drywall installation and finishing techniques including plastering and caulking applications. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on safety standards such as power tool safety protocols. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on residential projects; previous restoration industry experience is a plus.
