Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. As a Skilled Carpenter, you will play a vital role in delivering top-quality craftsmanship across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise in reading blueprints, handling hand and power tools, and executing precise carpentry work will ensure that every project meets our high standards of safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling and restoration to new construction, with a focus on delivering exceptional results efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, and tile laying with precision Operate woodworking machines safely to shape wood components for various projects Assist with construction estimating by providing accurate material measurements and labor estimates Conduct heavy lifting and material handling to ensure efficient workflow on site Support restoration industry projects including water damage restoration, mold remediation, plastering, rebar installation, and water damage repair Qualifications Proven experience in residential carpentry, framing, trim work, and general construction projects Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools for woodworking and carpentry tasks Familiarity with woodworking machines and safe operation of power tools for woodworking applications Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols including power tool safety standards Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday Knowledge of drywall installation, caulking techniques, stucco application, fixture installation, and tile laying is preferred Prior experience in the restoration industry or remodeling projects is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in interpreting construction plans and technical specifications Join our team to build quality structures while advancing your skills in a fast-paced environment! Pay:
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
