Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Carpenters and Metal Building Erectors with hands-on experience in Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) and Pole Barn construction. You'll work on a variety of commercial and agricultural building projects throughout the Green Bay and Appleton areas, with occasional travel to the Madison area. Steady work and opportunities to grow with our team are available. If you take pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoy working outdoors on structural projects, this is an excellent long-term opportunity.
Travel Requirements:
First 2+weeks with be traveling to Milwaukee, WI (Hotel +$35 per diem a day provided.) Candidates must be willing to work in Green Bay and Appleton, with travel to the Madison area or other towns in WI when needed. When traveling
•hotel is paid and per diem is offered $3/day for meals/expenses.
Responsibilities:
Erect PEMB framing systems and steel structures
Build and install pole barns from start to finish
Assemble and bolt steel connections accurately
Install metal siding, roofing, and sheeting
Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
Safely operate hand and power tools
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Collaborate with crew members to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience erecting PEMBs, pole barns, or working with steel/wood framing
- Skilled in framing, bolting, sheeting, and roof installation
- Comfortable working at heights using lifts, ladders, or scaffolding
- Must have basic hand tools and proper use of PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility vest, work boots, and harness)
- Reliable transportation to travel to job sites within a 60-mile radius
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
