Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise finishing work on residential projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Your expertise in carpentry, woodworking, and construction finishing will contribute to creating beautiful, functional spaces that meet client specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from trim installations to remodeling and restoration tasks, all while honing your skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install interior and exterior finish carpentry components such as trim, molding, doors, windows, and cabinetry with accuracy and efficiency Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise installations aligned with project specifications Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols including power tool safety standards Perform framing work when necessary for structural or aesthetic purposes in residential or commercial settings Execute tasks related to water damage restoration, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and rebar installation as needed for project scope Assist with remodeling projects by installing fixtures, laying tiles, caulking joints, hanging doors, and assembling various components Use woodworking machines for shaping materials when required while maintaining strict safety practices Skills Extensive experience in construction estimating and interpreting construction plans Proficiency in blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation Strong knowledge of wood construction materials including framing lumber, trim boards, drywall, stucco finishes, and other related products Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers along with power tools for woodworking including drills, sanders, routers etc. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques necessary for handling large or heavy materials safely on-site Experience in residential carpentry with a focus on trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation and remodeling projects Knowledge of the restoration industry including water damage repair and mold remediation processes Ability to interpret technical drawings related to rebar installation or plastering projects Strong understanding of power tool safety practices to prevent accidents during operation Join our team if you're passionate about delivering exceptional craftsmanship in a collaborative environment!
