Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring that all projects meet quality standards and safety regulations. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other construction materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Perform framing, drywall installation, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, roofing, and trim carpentry with attention to detail. Operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently to fabricate custom fixtures or structural components. Execute restoration work including water damage remediation, plastering, stucco application, rebar installation, and masonry repairs. Assist with concrete forming, metal stud framing, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical wiring setup, plumbing rough-ins, and other specialty trades as needed. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to power tool safety protocols and proper handling of heavy lifting tasks. Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of construction phases while maintaining high-quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial carpentry with a strong background in construction projects. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; ability to interpret construction plans accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills, saws, sanders; woodworking machines; CNC equipment is a plus. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material specifications for wood construction materials. Familiarity with various aspects of the restoration industry including mold remediation and water damage restoration is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites while maintaining physical stamina. Experience with metal stud framing, fixture installation (doors, cabinets), drywall finishing, caulking, painting preparation, siding application, roofing techniques or electrical experience is desirable. Strong commitment to safety standards including power tool safety protocols; ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
