Construction / Concrete Flooring WeCoat Concrete Coatings is looking for a dependable, hardworking Concrete Coatings Installer / Flooring Technician to join our growing team. We specialize in transforming residential and commercial concrete floors using polyurea/polyaspartic flake systems, polished concrete, grind-and-seal systems, stained concrete, and other specialty flooring solutions. Experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person who shows up on time, works hard, pays attention to detail, and wants to learn a skilled trade. This is a hands-on, physically demanding construction position. We are looking for someone who wants to learn the entire installation process and eventually be able to recognize what needs to be done next without constantly being directed. What You'll Be Doing Operate concrete grinders, hand grinders, vacuums, and other floor-preparation equipment Grind and prepare concrete surfaces for coatings and finishes Remove existing paint, epoxy, adhesives, sealers, and other materials Repair cracks, joints, damaged concrete, and surface imperfections Mix and apply polyurea, polyaspartic, sealers, repair products, and other coatings Apply base coats, decorative flake, and clear topcoats Assist with polished concrete and grind-and-seal projects Load and unload equipment and materials Keep jobsites clean, organized, and professional Learn proper product coverage rates, mixing procedures, and installation techniques Work efficiently while maintaining our quality standards What We're Looking For The right person for this position is someone who: Shows up on time and is dependable Has a strong work ethic Takes pride in doing quality work Pays attention to details Can follow instructions and learn new processes Works well as part of a team Can eventually work independently without constant supervision Takes care of company tools and equipment Is respectful and professional around customers Is willing to learn from mistakes and continually improve Understands that quality is more important than simply getting a job finished quickly Construction, concrete, flooring, painting, epoxy coating, or similar experience is a plus, but we value reliability, attitude, and willingness to learn just as much as previous experience. Physical Requirements Applicants must be able to: Work on their feet for extended periods Frequently bend, kneel, squat, and work close to the floor Lift and carry approximately 50-75 lbs when necessary Load and unload equipment and materials Work in garages, basements, commercial buildings, patios, and outdoor environments Work in hot, cold, or humid conditions at times Safely operate construction and concrete-preparation equipment Wear required PPE, including respirators, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, and other safety equipment Schedule Our schedule varies depending on project size, location, weather, and installation requirements. Applicants should be willing to work early mornings and occasional longer days when necessary to complete a project properly. Some weekend work may occasionally be available or required depending on project schedules. Opportunity for Advancement We are looking for someone who wants more than just a temporary labor job. Helper / Technician → Installer → Lead Installer / Crew Leader Raises and advancement are based on reliability, quality of work, productivity, knowledge of our systems, ability to work independently, and leadership. Preferred Qualifications Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Construction or flooring experience is a plus Experience with grinders or power tools is a plus Comfortable working with tools and equipment Ability to understand measurements and product mix ratios Strong attention to detail Willingness to learn Why Work With WeCoat?
