Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation, and finishing of concrete surfaces across various construction projects. Duties Assist with the setup and dismantling of concrete formwork according to blueprints and technical drawings Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform concrete pouring, cutting, finishing, and surface smoothing Support rebar installation by cutting, bending, and positioning reinforcement bars as specified in construction plans Mix concrete using concrete mixers or assist with the delivery of ready-mix concrete for pouring tasks Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of work, including heavy lifting, working at heights, and operating machinery Interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of construction plans and specifications Perform general site cleanup and ensure work areas adhere to construction workplace safety regulations Qualifications Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar laborer role preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued highly Mechanical knowledge related to tools, equipment operation, and basic maintenance Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate task execution Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, rebar installation, and concrete cutting is a plus Familiarity with construction estimating processes and interpreting construction plans is advantageous Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate power tools and heavy equipment effectively Valid driver's license for commercial driving or site transportation may be preferred Join our team if you're eager to build a career in construction with a focus on concrete finishing!
