The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with concrete pouring projects, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting various labor tasks on-site. This role requires physical strength, attention to safety, and flexibility to work early mornings and occasional overnight stays for out-of-town projects. Responsibilities Safely lift and handle 80 lb. bags of materials and construction tools required for concrete work. Assist with the pouring and finishing of concrete according to project specifications. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and team members. Operate construction tools as needed to support concrete installation processes. Work efficiently in a team setting, maintaining productivity during early morning shifts starting as early as 5 am. Occasionally stay overnight in hotels when working on out-of-town projects. Support other labor tasks related to construction projects as directed by supervisors. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the job site. Experience Prior experience in concrete pouring or general construction labor is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Ability to safely lift heavy loads (up to 80 lbs.) and work with construction equipment such as forklifts or bobcats is advantageous. Reliable, punctual, and committed to performing hard physical work in various weather conditions. Familiarity with safety procedures in construction environments is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dedicated construction team focused on quality workmanship and safety. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and varying scheduling requirements.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 - 40.0 per week
