Commercial/Industrial Concrete Lead

•Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial/Industrial Concrete Lead to oversee and execute concrete construction projects within commercial and industrial settings. This hands-on role involves direct involvement in all phases of concrete work, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blueprint reading, formwork construction, rebar installation, concrete pouring, and technical interpretation to lead a team effectively on-site.

•Responsibilities Lead and supervise concrete construction activities on commercial and industrial sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements. Oversee the construction of formwork structures, ensuring proper setup for concrete pouring. Manage rebar installation processes, ensuring reinforcement is correctly placed according to engineering specifications. Coordinate and perform concrete pouring operations, maintaining quality control throughout the process. Conduct concrete cutting tasks as needed for project completion. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to maintain workflow efficiency. Provide hands-on leadership on-site, actively participating in the physical aspects of concrete work as required. Monitor progress and troubleshoot issues promptly to keep projects on schedule.

•Skills Proven experience in commercial or industrial concrete construction projects. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings. Expertise in formwork construction, rebar installation, concrete pouring, and cutting techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively in a hands-on environment. Good understanding of safety protocols related to heavy construction activities. Ability to problem-solve quickly and adapt to changing project needs. Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and project stakeholders. Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for demanding on-site work.

Pay:

$25.00

•$34.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0

•50.0 per week
