Initially this role will be in full-time support of a large Navy project at JBPHH. Experience and interest in operating in a construction environment is critical to be successful in this role. This Lab Manager position will be responsible for oversight of all aspects of testing (mostly concrete, soil, and aggregate) happening in the onsite lab including but not limited to managing staff, running tests, reviewing reports, writing reports, and data entry. This position will work closely with the QC Manager, Alt QC Managers, Concrete Quality Manager, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Inspectors, Lab Technicians, and Field Technicians to ensure project success.

QC Managers, Concrete Quality Manager, Field Technicians, Lab Technicians, and Scheduler Requirements:

Experience in construction materials testing and quality control. ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician

•Level 1 (ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician and ACI Aggregate Test Technician), ACI Aggregate Base Testing Technician, and ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician

•Grade 1 preferred. Proof of date of initial licensing and school diplomas required by Gov't to be accepted for this role. Must have ability to get government clearance. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Schedule:

10 hour shifts with some weekends

Pay:

$35.00

•$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0

•60.0 per week
