Job Description

Job Summary We can teach the job. We cannot teach leadership, character, or work ethic. We are looking for a hard-working, responsible, and dependable individual to join our concrete coating installation crew. The right person takes initiative, needs little direction once trained, handles pressure well, and takes pride in doing the job right. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that requires continuous lifting, standing, bending, grinding, and working with heavy equipment. Concrete coating or construction experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Responsibilities Grind and prepare concrete surfaces Repair cracks, pits, and damaged concrete Apply epoxy and polyaspartic coating systems Operate grinders, vacuums, hand tools, and other equipment Load, unload, and move heavy equipment and materials Maintain clean and organized jobsites, tools, and equipment Follow all safety procedures Work efficiently to complete projects on schedule Maintain high standards for quality and craftsmanship Communicate professionally with customers and crew members What We're Looking For Hard-working and dependable Responsible and able to take ownership of assigned work Able to work with little direction once trained Takes initiative and demonstrates leadership Able to stay productive and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment Comfortable with continuous heavy lifting of 50+ lbs Able to work on your feet for extended periods Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Flexible availability, including some weekends and longer days when needed Construction or concrete coating experience is a plus Must maintain a drug-free work environment We are looking for someone who wants to work, learn, take responsibility, and grow into a leadership role. This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Work is performed in person at various job sites throughout Chicago and the Northwest Suburbs.
Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
