Job Description

Concrete Laborer We seek a reliable and hardworking Concrete Laborer to support our concrete finishing teams. The Concrete Laborer assists with all aspects of concrete placement and finishing, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn the concrete trade and contribute to a dynamic construction environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist Concrete Finishers with the preparation of sub-grade, including grading, leveling, and compacting. Assist with formworkcarpentry, including precise measurement, cutting, assembly, bracing, and stripping to ensure accurate dimensions and structural integrity. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and job sites. Mix, pour, and spread concrete under the direction of skilled finishers. Perform general site cleanup, including removing debris and organizing materials. Assist with the setup and dismantling of forms, rebar, and other concrete-related structures. Operate small hand tools and power tools as directed (e.g., vibrators, grinders). Help with the maintenance and cleaning of concrete tools and equipment. Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Perform other general labor duties as assigned to support project completion.
Qualifications:
Skilled in the use of basic hand and power tools for general labor tasks. Previous experience in a construction or labor-intensive role preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials (50+ lbs), standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision. Basic understanding of construction site safety is a plus. Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects. Comfortable with repetitive motions and physical exertion throughout the workday. Ability to work in dusty and noisy environments in all types of weather.
