Ranging from $17.00 to $24.00 per hour, with room for advancement based on experience, skills, and performance.

Our work includes:

Grain bins and grain-handling systems Concrete foundations and flatwork Steel buildings Post-frame buildings Agricultural and commercial infrastructure Equipment installation, repair, and service work This is a hands-on position for someone who is dependable, willing to work, and interested in learning construction skills. Experience is valuable, but we are also willing to train the right person who shows up ready to work and learn. What You'll Do Assist with concrete, steel, post-frame, and grain-system construction Perform site preparation, material handling, equipment setup, and jobsite cleanup Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely Work with crew leaders and experienced team members to complete projects Follow job plans, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Travel to jobsites as required Learn new skills and take on additional responsibility as experience grows What We're Looking For Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic Willingness to work outdoors and perform physical construction work Ability to lift, climb, bend, and perform manual labor throughout the workday Ability to follow instructions and work well with a crew Willingness to learn and improve Construction or general labor experience preferred, but not required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Experience in any of the following is a plus: Concrete Steel erection Grain bins or grain-handling equipment Post-frame construction Welding Equipment operation Agricultural construction What SMC Offers Starting at $17.00 per hour Room for advancement as skills, experience, and responsibilities grow Per diem for qualifying out-of-town work Paid holidays Paid time off
