Vitale Ready Mix is seeking a Quality Control Specialist / Sales Representative to join our team in Central New York. This is a unique hybrid position combining concrete quality control, technical field support, customer relationship management, and sales . We are looking for someone who is comfortable working both in the field and with customers—someone who can help ensure we are delivering a quality product while also building strong relationships with contractors and identifying opportunities to grow our business. This is not a traditional desk-based sales role. You will spend a significant amount of time visiting jobsites, working with our concrete operations team, assisting customers, troubleshooting concrete-related issues, and developing relationships throughout the Central New York construction market. Responsibilities Quality Control & Technical Support Perform field testing of ready-mix concrete, including slump, air content, temperature, and preparation of concrete test cylinders. Monitor concrete quality and consistency at our plants and on customer jobsites. Assist with troubleshooting concrete performance and quality concerns. Work with batch plant personnel, dispatchers, drivers, and customers to address product or placement issues. Help ensure concrete products meet company standards, customer specifications, and applicable

requirements. Assist with mix design performance reviews and quality-control documentation. Visit active jobsites to observe concrete placement conditions and provide technical support when needed. Maintain accurate testing and quality-control records. Help identify opportunities to improve product quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction. Sales & Customer Relationships Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, project managers, estimators, and other customers throughout Central New York. Visit customers and jobsites regularly to understand upcoming projects and concrete needs. Follow up with existing customers and help identify opportunities for additional business. Assist with quoting projects and communicating product options to customers. Work closely with management, dispatch, and operations to ensure customer expectations are being met. Help develop new accounts while strengthening relationships with existing customers. Serve as a knowledgeable technical resource for customers when questions or concrete-related problems arise. Represent Vitale Ready Mix professionally within the local construction industry. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, technically minded, and comfortable working independently. Experience in ready-mix concrete, construction materials, concrete testing, estimating, construction sales, or a related field is preferred.

Candidates should have:

Strong communication and relationship-building skills. An interest in concrete, construction, and technical problem solving. Ability to work effectively with contractors, field personnel, drivers, plant employees, and management. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple jobsites, customers, and priorities. A valid driver's license and clean driving record. Basic computer and mobile technology skills. Ability to work outdoors and around active construction sites. ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I certification is preferred but not required. We are willing to train and help the right candidate obtain applicable certifications. Previous sales experience is helpful, but we are more interested in someone who can build trust, solve problems, understand our product, and develop long-term customer relationships than someone with a traditional high-pressure sales background. Schedule:
