We are seeking a detail-oriented Concrete Estimator to join our team that can accurately estimate the costs for concrete projects, use your expertise to ensure project bids are competitive yet profitable, and support the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects. You are capable to preform without sacrificing accuracy You look for better ways to do things and bring ideas to the table What You'll Do Review plans, interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine material and labor requirements for concrete projects: footings, foundations, piers, slabs, walls, and flatwork Utilize estimating software such as Stack, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and other construction management tools to prepare detailed cost estimates Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing (concrete volume, rebar, forms, mesh, vapor barrier, finishing) Manage project budgets by tracking costs, controlling expenses, and adjusting estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle Build detailed estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, pumping, and subcontractors Review contracts and project specifications to ensure all scope items are accurately estimated and aligned with client expectations Visit sites to evaluate access, conditions, and logistics Maintain organized records of all estimates, correspondence, and project documentation using construction management software and spreadsheets Support project managers with ongoing cost control efforts during construction phases to ensure projects stay within budget qualifications Prepare bid proposals, clarifications, and exclusions, and submit bids on time Hand off awarded jobs to project managers with clear budgets and scope Compare estimates to actual job costs and refine our pricing Maintain the estimating database and bid log Required Qualifications 2+ years estimating concrete or general construction (field experience is a plus) A proven track record of accurate estimates and winning bids Strong plan reading and understanding of concrete construction methods Experience with takeoff software (Stack, PlanSwift, Bluebeam or simular), Excel and Word for detailed spreadsheets and documentation. Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple bids and tight deadlines Self-motivated and accountable, with the drive to exceed goals Clear communicator with GCs, suppliers, and our field crews Knowledge of material cost estimating techniques including pricing strategies for concrete materials and related supplies Preferred Qualifications PennDOT or public bid experience (prevailing wage, ECMS) Familiarity with ACI standards and concrete mix designs Concrete estimating experience Knowledge of the Central PA contractor and supplier market What we offer Competitive base pay Health, Dental and Vision insurance 401K with company match Company Paid Life Insurance and AD&D. Pay:

$80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
