Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including the ability to read blueprints and perform various finishing techniques. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality, ensuring that all concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards. Responsibilities Interpret and follow blueprints and project specifications to determine the layout and finishing requirements of concrete surfaces. Prepare and set up forms for pouring concrete, ensuring they are level and secure. Mix, pour, and spread concrete using various tools, including concrete mixers and power tools. Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools or power tools to achieve the desired texture and appearance. Inspect finished work for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary to meet project specifications. Collaborate with other construction team members on-site to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines. Requirements Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans. Familiarity with metal stud framing and concrete forming techniques is preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools is essential. Experience with commercial driving may be beneficial for transporting materials on-site. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively, including concrete mixers. Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work. Ability to work in various weather conditions on construction sites.
