Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing a variety of concrete-related tasks that bring construction projects to life. Responsibilities Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create durable and smooth surfaces. Set up and dismantle formwork for concrete structures, ensuring proper alignment and stability according to blueprints and specifications. Install rebar reinforcement to strengthen concrete elements, following detailed technical drawings and safety protocols. Operate power tools and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, saws, and cutting tools safely and effectively. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately. Perform site preparation activities including heavy lifting, material handling, and ensuring the work area complies with safety regulations. Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople on various construction projects including renovations, hardscape installations, and new builds. Qualifications Proven experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and cutting techniques. Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation, and basic maintenance practices. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and interpreting blueprint specifications. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy machinery or power tools as needed. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in interpreting technical drawings and plans. Prior experience with rebar installation, formwork construction, stucco application, caulking, plastering, flooring installation or metal stud framing is a plus but not required.
