Job Overview We are seeking a team of three skilled Underground Utility Pipe Installers and one highly experienced Excavation Team Foreman to join our subdivision development projects. The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation of underground utilities, including sewer lines, and supporting excavation activities. This role requires a strong focus on safety, precision, and efficiency to ensure the successful completion of utility infrastructure within subdivision sites. The ideal team will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality work in a timely manner, adhering to project specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities Install underground utility pipes with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring proper alignment and connection of sewer lines and other utilities. Execute excavation activities necessary for utility installation, including trenching, shoring, and backfilling, while maintaining safety protocols. Coordinate with team members and project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project timelines. Operate relevant machinery and tools safely and efficiently during pipe installation and excavation processes. Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring all safety regulations are followed at all times. Troubleshoot issues that arise during installation or excavation, proposing effective solutions to minimize delays. Support the overall progress of subdivision development by completing assigned tasks accurately and efficiently. Skills Proven experience in underground utility pipe installation, including sewer line installation. Strong knowledge of excavation techniques and safety procedures related to trenching and utility work. Ability to operate excavation equipment and hand tools safely and effectively. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly with crew members and supervisors. Attention to detail to ensure proper installation standards are met consistently. Leadership qualities for the Foreman role, including decision-making skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to oversee a team effectively. Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding labor tasks in various weather conditions.
