Blackpointe Group Construction & Management, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced, hands-on construction professional to join our team as a Senior Construction Foreman. Blackpointe holds multiple multi-year, on-call general contracting and maintenance contracts with municipalities and other public agencies. We complete more than 50 projects annually, providing our employees with consistent, year-round work and exposure to a wide variety of construction, repair, and maintenance projects. This is not a position for someone who only supervises from the sidelines. We are looking for a working foreman who can lead a crew, coordinate daily field activities, solve problems, and personally perform skilled construction work when needed. Our projects may include fencing, concrete, framing, general repairs, facility maintenance, light plumbing, light electrical work, demolition, and other general construction, welding and other specialties is a plus. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing professional-quality work and is comfortable moving between different trades and project types. Primary Responsibilities Supervise and work alongside field crews on municipal construction projects Plan and coordinate daily labor, materials, tools, equipment, and project activities Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, details, and written scopes of work Communicate professionally with project managers, inspectors, agency representatives, subcontractors, and crew members Install and repair chain-link, ornamental, wood, and other fencing systems Perform wood and metal framing Perform general construction, demolition, repairs, installations, and finish work Complete light plumbing tasks, such as resetting toilets, replacing fixtures, and making minor repairs Complete light electrical tasks, such as replacing outlets, switches, and fixtures, when permitted and assigned Identify field conflicts and help develop practical solutions Maintain jobsite safety , quality control, productivity, and cleanliness Track labor, materials, progress, and completed work Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and public-agency requirements Properly maintain and account for company tools, vehicles, and equipment Required Experience and Qualifications At least 10 years of verifiable, high-level construction experience; 15 years is preferred Strong, well-rounded experience in general construction and multiple trades Demonstrated experience supervising construction crews while also working as a hands-on foreman Substantial fencing experience Strong framing, repair, installation, and troubleshooting abilities Ability to safely perform minor plumbing and electrical tasks within the permitted scope of work Ability to read construction plans, specifications, measurements, and details Ability to organize work, anticipate material and equipment needs, and keep projects moving Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Dependable, professional, safety-conscious, and able to work with limited supervision Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to perform physically demanding construction work in outdoor conditions Preferred Qualifications Welding and metal-fabrication experience Machine & tool operations at general level Municipal, public works, prevailing-wage, or government construction experience Concrete, masonry, guardrail, or sitework experience Experience coordinating with inspectors and public-agency representatives OSHA or other construction-safety training Construction-equipment operating experience What We Offer Company vehicle is provided Competitive compensation based on experience and demonstrated abilities Stable, year-round employment supported by multiple multi-year municipal contracts and more than 50 projects completed annually Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid vacation 401(k) retirement plan Varied work on municipal and public-agency projects Opportunity to take responsibility for projects and become an important part of an established construction company What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who knows construction, can lead people, and is still willing and able to work with tools. $78.00 - $103.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
