Construction Foreman -
Custom Homes & Large Remodels Location:
Bay Area, CA We are a busy and growing construction company looking for an experienced Construction Foreman to lead custom home and large-scale remodeling projects throughout the Bay Area. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, hands-on, and capable of managing day-to-day field operations while maintaining quality, productivity, and jobsite safety.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise crews, subcontractors, and day-to-day jobsite operations Read and understand architectural, structural, and construction plans Coordinate project sequencing, manpower, deliveries, inspections, and subcontractors Plan daily and weekly work activities and keep the project moving efficiently Verify work is completed according to plans, specifications, and company quality standards Perform layout, framing, carpentry, and problem-solving in the field when required Track materials, identify shortages, and coordinate material orders and deliveries Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding progress, scheduling, issues, and upcoming work Identify field conflicts early and help develop practical solutions Manage punch-list items and ensure work is completed properly before moving to the next phase
Requirements:
Minimum 7+ years of construction experience, with strong experience in custom homes and major remodels preferred Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Carpenter, Superintendent, or similar field leadership role Strong knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, drywall, waterproofing, doors/windows, and general residential construction Ability to read full architectural and structural plan sets Strong understanding of construction sequencing and jobsite workflow Ability to manage crews and subcontractors professionally Must be reliable, organized, and able to take ownership of the project Good communication and problem-solving skills Basic tools and reliable transportation required Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus
