KROD Mechanical is a family-owned commercial HVAC contractor seeking an experienced, hands-on Lead Foreman to oversee installations and lead our field crew. We're looking for someone who can take a set of plans, organize the work, communicate clearly and guide a project through installation and punch list. You'll work directly with ownership and the project team, with a meaningful role in how our jobs are planned and completed. What you'll do Lead daily commercial HVAC installation activities while working alongside the crew. Read and interpret mechanical plans, specifications, equipment schedules and approved submittals. Plan daily assignments for journeymen and apprentices. Oversee and perform installation of ductwork, hangers, supports, air distribution components and HVAC equipment. Coordinate material needs, deliveries, equipment and upcoming work with the office. Communicate with general contractors and other trades to resolve installation conflicts. Monitor workmanship, job progress and labor use; identify delays or additional work early. Maintain accurate daily updates, jobsite photos and crew time records. Train apprentices and reinforce safe work practices. Support inspections, complete punch-list items and maintain an organized jobsite. What we're looking for Approximately five or more years of commercial HVAC installation experience, including experience leading a crew. Ability to manage daily field operations with limited supervision. Strong knowledge of commercial ductwork, equipment installation and construction sequencing. Confidence reading plans, laying out work and identifying field conflicts. Clear communication, dependable attendance and professional jobsite conduct. Commitment to safety, quality and treating coworkers respectfully. Ability to reach assigned jobsites reliably. Ability to perform essential field duties, including work on ladders and lifts, with or without reasonable accommodation. OSHA 30 training and experience coordinating commercial inspections are preferred. Pay and work arrangements $45-$60 per hour, based on relevant experience and demonstrated leadership ability. Weekly pay. Hourly position with overtime paid as required by law. Paid sick leave under applicable state and local requirements. Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Independence Day off. Paid required safety orientation and training. Direct communication with ownership and opportunities for greater responsibility as the company grows. Project schedules and start times vary.
