This is a business-to-business subcontract arrangement. You will be engaged as an independent contractor business, not hired as an employee. All applicable California laws governing subcontractors must be followed, including California Labor Code §2781 (the construction subcontractor provisions of AB5) and California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) requirements.

• What We're Looking For
• Crews experienced in residential split-system change-outs (furnace, condenser, coil, air handlers, heat pumps)
• Clean, code-compliant installs: line sets, electrical, condensate, venting, startup, and commissioning
• Professional crews who treat every home with respect and leave the job site clean
• Reliable scheduling and clear communication with our office and our customers
• Requirements (All Must Be Met to Be Considered)
• Active California C-20 (HVAC) contractor license in good standing with the CSLB
• A business entity with its own business location (which may be your residence) and any required local business license
• Workers' compensation coverage for any employees, or a valid CSLB workers' comp exemption on file if you have no employees
• General liability insurance , with our Company named as additional insured
• EPA Section 608 certification for all crew members handling refrigerant
• Your own tools, equipment, and transportation
• Ability to hire, direct, and pay your own crew members
• Willingness to sign a written subcontract agreement before any work begins
