We are seeking an experienced
- Post-Tension (PT) Slab Foreman
- to oversee and manage a residential construction project involving the installation and pouring of post-tension concrete slabs.
- Previous hands-on experience with post-tension slab construction is required.
- We are looking for someone who understands the entire PT slab process and can confidently oversee crews, coordinate work, identify problems before a pour, and ensure slabs are completed correctly, safely, and on schedule.
This is a field leadership position. The Foreman will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and making sure work is completed according to plans, specifications, safety requirements, and our quality standards. Responsibilities
- Oversee crews performing post-tension slab construction
- Read and understand PT slab plans and construction drawings
- Verify slab layout, dimensions, elevations, and readiness prior to concrete placement
- Oversee installation and placement of post-tension tendons/cables
- Verify tendon layout, supports, anchors, reinforcement, penetrations, and other slab components prior to pour
- Coordinate concrete pours, pump operations, finishing crews, and other trades
- Perform pre-pour inspections and identify potential issues before concrete placement
- Supervise concrete placement and finishing operations
- Maintain proper production schedules and coordinate upcoming pours
- Communicate with project management, superintendents, suppliers, inspectors, and field crews
- Ensure crews follow OSHA and company safety requirements
- Monitor workmanship and correct quality issues immediately
- Maintain an organized and safe jobsite
- Track daily progress, manpower, and jobsite needs Required Qualifications
- Previous experience constructing and overseeing post-tension concrete slabs is
REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of the PT slab construction and pour process
- Concrete forming and slab experience
- Ability to read construction plans and PT slab drawings
- Experience supervising concrete crews
- Strong understanding of pre-pour preparation and quality-control procedures
- Ability to coordinate multiple crews and trades
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Dependable and able to take ownership of the project
- Knowledge of jobsite and OSHA safety requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Experience Experience with
- residential post-tension foundations/slabs
- , production homebuilding, high-volume concrete operations, and coordinating multiple slab pours is strongly preferred.
Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
