The Lead Installer will be responsible for leading installation crews, ensuring projects are completed safely and professionally, and serving as the primary on-site representative for installation projects. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of signage installation, construction practices, tools and equipment, and job-site safety. This person should be comfortable working at heights, operating lifts and other equipment, troubleshooting installation challenges, and communicating professionally with customers, general contractors, and team members. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and perform interior and exterior signage installations, including illuminated, dimensional, ADA, vinyl, monument, and wayfinding signs.
  • Read and interpret installation drawings, plans, measurements, and site specifications.
  • Coordinate and direct installation crews on job sites.
  • Verify site conditions, measurements, mounting surfaces, electrical requirements, and hardware needs.
  • Safely operate ladders, lifts, power tools, hand tools, rigging, and other installation equipment.
  • Perform electrical connections for illuminated signage when properly qualified and permitted.
  • Ensure signs are securely mounted, aligned, level, illuminated, and completed to company standards.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and develop practical installation solutions.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, contractors, and other trades.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites while following OSHA and company safety requirements.
  • Complete installation paperwork, photos, checklists, and job documentation.
  • Inspect completed installations and resolve punch-list items or deficiencies.
  • Safely load, transport, unload, and handle signage and materials.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Promptly report job-site issues, damaged materials, missing hardware, and delays to management.
  • Train and mentor installation team members on techniques, safety, and company standards. Leadership Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of assigned installation projects from start to finish.
  • Provide clear direction to installers and helpers.
  • Ensure the crew arrives prepared with the correct tools, materials, equipment, and documentation.
  • Maintain productivity while never compromising safety or quality.
  • Identify potential problems before they become costly delays.
  • Communicate project status and issues to management.
  • Hold the installation team accountable for workmanship, professionalism, and job site conduct.
  • Set the example for safe, efficient, and high-quality work. Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years of professional signage installation or closely related construction experience preferred.
  • Previous crew-lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial sign installation methods, hardware, and tools.
  • Ability to read installation drawings and take accurate measurements.
  • Experience with electrical signage and low-voltage connections.
  • Experience with boom lifts, bucket trucks, or other access equipment.
  • Experience with concrete, masonry, steel, and other common sign mounting surfaces.
  • Comfortable working at heights using ladders and aerial lifts.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel locally and occasionally overnight.
  • Strong communication, customer-service, and leadership skills.
  • Professional, dependable, and able to work independently while also leading a team.
  • Experience working on active construction sites.
  • Familiarity with local permitting and sign installation requirements. Physical Requirements
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and work at elevated heights.
  • Lift and carry signage, tools, ladders, and equipment.
  • Safely handle materials that may be large, heavy, or awkwardly shaped.
  • Work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
  • Work from ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and other elevated work platforms.
  • Perform repetitive physical tasks
Pay:
$27.00
  • $30.
00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
