Our projects are currently located in Northern Colorado, the Denver Metro area and southern Wyoming. The Pipe Foreman will manage a crew installing underground utilities including water, sewer, and storm systems. The Foreman also needs to have experience with site layout, grading/earthwork, and punch list completion. This field-based position will work closely with the entire project team including clients, engineers, estimators/project managers, subcontractors and inspectors. Duties and Responsibilities Review project plans to ensure construction is completed according to specifications Oversee crews to ensure project is constructed according to the approved plans and within the project schedule Manage aggregate materials for the project avoiding shortages Order materials, equipment and supplies to maintain highest productivity Schedule testing and inspections as required to maintain workflow Installation and maintenance of BMPs and erosion control. Provide leadership and direction to crews while emphasizing safety, quality and production Work closely with Superintendents to verify the project scope, schedule and budget Attend construction progress meetings and scheduling meetings Conduct daily meetings with crews to review schedule, production goals, and safety and get feedback from employees. Ensure all employees comply with company safety procedures. Immediately correct and document any unsafe conditions Administrative tasks including daily electronic time sheet entry, equipment logs, change orders, and uploading progress photographs Train and motivate employees Ensure all field personnel are using proper PPE and fall protection equipment May operate heavy equipment and assist with labor when needed Availability to work weekends Qualifications/Skills Required Valid driver's license with clean driving record OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 and basic First Aid training Able to read and understand plans and specifications Able to read and properly interpret survey grade stakes Able to perform material take-offs Able to supervise the work of others and clearly communicate instructions. Strong verbal and written communication skills Physical Requirements Must be physically fit and able to perform job duties including: frequent use of hands, arms, legs and whole body; long periods of balance, standing or sitting; frequent walking, climbing, bending and/or lifting objects in excess of 50 pounds. Must be able to work in all weather conditions including very hot, cold and wet conditions.
