Roofing Services, LLC is looking for an experienced Roofing Foreman to lead roofing crews in Southwest Florida. The Roofing Foreman is responsible for leading the crew, keeping the job safe and productive, and making sure the roof system is installed correctly and meets company and customer standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a roofing crew and direct daily work Keep the crew safe, productive, and on schedule Make sure work meets company quality standards Manage labor, materials, tools, equipment, and the jobsite Set up job sites, equipment, scaffolding, and safety systems Identify and correct safety hazards Make sure crew members follow OSHA and company safety requirements Work with the Project Supervisor to set daily goals Understand roof systems, materials, and proper installation methods Perform and oversee roofing repairs and installations Protect the building and customer property during construction Communicate with crew members, supervisors, office staff, and customers Keep job sites clean and organized Take daily jobsite photos and upload them into our project management system Help train crew members on proper roofing installation and safety Act as the jobsite superintendent when needed
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Roofing experience required Previous Roofing Foreman or Crew Leader experience preferred Strong knowledge of roofing materials and installation Able to identify roofing problems and determine proper repair methods Able to read and understand plans, specifications, and work orders Good basic math skills Strong communication and leadership skills Able to plan ahead and identify potential jobsite problems Self-motivated, dependable, and organized Basic computer skills and ability to learn company technology Able to train and teach other crew members Able to lift and move roofing materials and equipment Comfortable working at heights and using ladders Able to work outside in Southwest Florida weather
REQUIRED OSHA
10-hour card Valid driver's license Legally authorized to work in the United States - CFS Roofing Services, LLC uses E-Verify.
PREFERRED TRAINING
The following are a plus, but are not required: Crane/CCL Forklift Man lift Rigging Manufacturer roofing training Roof system-specific training Cool Roof training CERTA certification
