Job Description

Job Overview A growing Florida-based specialty construction contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead field crews performing commercial concrete restoration, waterproofing, coatings, stucco repair, sealants, and building-envelope work. This is a hands-on field leadership position . The Foreman will be responsible for crew productivity, quality, safety, daily planning, and execution. We are looking for someone who can lead from the front, keep a crew productive, recognize problems early, and consistently deliver quality work. Responsibilities Lead and supervise field crews, typically 4-10 employees. Plan daily work and assign crew responsibilities. Establish and achieve daily and weekly production goals. Work alongside the crew when appropriate. Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and repair details. Supervise concrete demolition and restoration, rebar preparation, forming, repair-mortar placement, waterproofing, coatings, sealants, and stucco repairs. Coordinate materials, tools, lifts, scaffolding, and access requirements. Track daily labor hours and installed quantities. Identify potential change-order and out-of-scope conditions before work proceeds. Coordinate inspections with project leadership. Maintain daily photographs and field documentation. Conduct toolbox talks/JHAs and enforce company safety requirements. Maintain clean and safe work areas, particularly on occupied properties. Train and develop field employees. Communicate manpower, material, equipment, schedule, quality, and safety issues to the Superintendent or Project Manager. Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, daily reports, and safety logs using Construction Management Software tools like ProCore or Bluebeam Conduct regular site inspections with an emphasis on safety protocols, environmental considerations, and adherence to construction regulations Lead team meetings to communicate project updates, assign tasks, and motivate crew members toward shared goals Assist in budgeting activities by tracking labor hours, material usage, and equipment costs to maintain financial efficiency Qualifications 5+ years of commercial construction experience preferred. 2+ years as a Foreman or crew leader preferred. Experience with concrete restoration, waterproofing, coatings, stucco, or building-envelope construction strongly preferred. Ability to lead and motivate construction crews. Ability to read drawings and specifications. Strong understanding of construction safety and fall protection. Experience with aerial lifts, scaffolding and/or swing stages is highly desirable. Ability to track production and manage labor productivity. Valid driver's license. Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor construction work. Willingness to travel for selected projects when required. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately Familiarity with OSHA standards and federal safety regulations specific to construction environments Strong understanding of construction scheduling techniques and project timeline coordination Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, quality control processes, and construction drawing review Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of safety and quality Valid certifications in OSHA safety training; additional certifications like First Aid or Heavy Equipment operation are a plus Knowledge of budgeting practices related to labor costs, materials procurement, and equipment management Experience with major commercial restoration and waterproofing systems is a plus Bi-lingual is a plus Strong performers will have an opportunity to advance into Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent roles as the company grows.
