Job Description
What You'll do Run day-to-day field operations on residential and light commercial sitework projects Operate equipment, including excavators, skid steers, and loaders Lead and direct crew members and laborers, and set daily priorities Read civil and grading plans and set grades with a rotary laser Install drainage systems, including pipe, structures, and exfiltration trench Install and maintain erosion control measures Keep daily reports on production, labor hours, equipment hours, trucking, and site conditions Coordinate with GC superintendents, haulers, and material deliveries Inspect and maintain equipment, and report issues right away Enforce safety on every site, including stopping unsafe work immediately What We're Looking For 5+ years of sitework, earthwork, or drainage experience 2+ years leading a crew as a foreman or lead operator Confident on an excavator and skid steer; other equipment experience is a plus Able to read civil plans and run a laser for grade Familiar with South Florida soils and drainage Organized and reliable, with clear communication Valid Florida driver's license and a clean driving record (CDL a plus) Able to pass a background check and drug test Able to work outdoors in Florida heat, with occasional weekends as projects require
