Job Description
Shukran Construction is seeking an experienced Grader Operator / Construction Foreman for a construction site development project in Norcross, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a motor grader, performing site grading and earthwork, and coordinating daily construction site activities. This is a temporary, project-based position expected to last approximately three months, with an immediate start preferred. Responsibilities Operate a motor grader and other applicable construction equipment for site grading, leveling, and earthwork. Perform rough and finish grading in accordance with site plans, elevations, and slope requirements. Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including laborers and equipment operators. Read and interpret grading plans, construction drawings, and site development specifications. Monitor work quality, productivity, and project progress to help meet project deadlines. Coordinate grading and earthwork activities with subcontractors, project managers, and other site personnel. Maintain daily records of work completed, labor, equipment usage, and site conditions. Conduct equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Follow all applicable job site safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications Previous experience operating a motor grader on construction or site development projects. Experience supervising construction crews or serving as a foreman is preferred. Ability to read and understand grading plans and construction drawings. Knowledge of earthwork, site preparation, grading, and drainage requirements. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work on-site in Norcross, Georgia for the duration of the project. Employment Details Temporary assignment for approximately three months. Full-time work schedule, based on project requirements. Hourly pay based on experience and qualifications. Immediate availability preferred.
