Job Description- This position involves overseeing all aspects of the electrical industry, encompassing construction, installation, maintenance, and repair. Responsibilities include ongoing communication with project managers and superintendents to keep them informed about project statuses, risks, and any issues that may arise. The candidate must possess knowledge of the NEC and construction codes and be capable of interpreting blueprints and plans. Moreover, the ideal candidate should exhibit strong communication skills, be a motivator, and work well in a team. The role also includes performing regular inspections in a timely manner and offering on-site supervision for tasks. The candidate will be tasked with ensuring the availability of equipment, materials, supplies, and labor. Additionally, they must estimate the necessary time and materials for upcoming projects, maintain cost and job records, and submit relevant reports. Key Responsibilities- (including, but not limited to):
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of on-site electricians.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and plans, ensuring adherence to NEC and construction codes.
  • Conduct inspections and provide on-site supervision for all assignments on time.
  • Manage the availability and allocation of equipment, materials, supplies, and labor.
  • Manage project timelines to ensure on-time completion and adherence to budget.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols.
  • Schedule time and materials required for projected work.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Motivate and lead team members to achieve project goals and objectives within schedule.
  • Conduct regular inspections and work with the team to troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members for future management roles Qualifications-
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Extensive knowledge of the NEC and construction codes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and plans.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documentation. Benefits-

Education:
High school diploma/equivalent required; technical degree preferred. Equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience can substitute.
Experience:
3 to 5 Years working in the electrical field as a foreman under an electrical contractor is preferred, but 1 to 2 years working as a foreman under an electrical contractor is acceptable.
Mandatory Hiring Requirements:
Resume, references, background check, drug screen testing, valid state Driver's license, and journeyman license are preferred but not required.

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour. Pay may depend on skills and qualifications.
