Job Description

CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring Electrical Foreman in Cedar Rapids, IA. This is an immediate opportunity for qualified professionals seeking steady work. The role involves supervising electrical crews while performing hands-on electrical installations in a commercial, industrial, or institutional setting. Ideal candidates will have extensive electrical experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to interpret blueprints and coordinate large cable pulls. This position reports directly to the Superintendent and requires working alongside the team to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

SCOPE OF WORK

Supervise electrical crews and assign daily tasks
Monitor productivity and quality standards
Read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawings
Coordinate conduit and cable tray installations
Set up large cable pulls and install switchgear, distribution panels, and transformers
Install fire alarm and control systems
Perform hands-on electrical work as needed
Coordinate with the Superintendent and other trades
Ensure jobsite safety and maintain quality standards

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 8 years of experience required
Foreman-level commercial or industrial electrical experience
Experience supervising electrical crews
Strong conduit and cable tray experience
Experience coordinating large cable pulls
Experience with switchgear, panels, and transformers
Ability to read blueprints and perform layout
Must be comfortable working alongside the crew
Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide)
