Job Overview PLEX Industries is a startup focused on railroad track maintenance and construction throughout our region and surrounding communities. We're seeking a dependable, hands-on Track Foreman to lead field crews and help establish a team known for safe work, quality workmanship, and reliable service. This is an opportunity to bring your experience to a new company, help shape how we work, and grow with PLEX. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Track Foreman to lead and oversee roadway and rail track construction projects. In this vital role, you will coordinate heavy equipment operations, manage construction crews, and ensure safety and efficiency on civil infrastructure projects. Your expertise in heavy machinery, road construction techniques, and safety protocols will drive the successful completion of projects that enhance transportation networks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on dynamic construction sites, ensuring quality workmanship while adhering to all safety standards and regulations. What We're Looking For Railroad track maintenance or construction experience. Ability to lead a crew, solve problems, and keep work organized. Equipment operator experience strongly preferred. CDL preferred. Dependability, clear communication, and a commitment to safety. Willingness to perform hands-on outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Essential duties Plan and direct daily field work conduct job briefings and verify employees are trained and authorized Serve as competent person only for assigned subjects supported by training knowledge and authority Coordinate customer work limits equipment materials time records and incident response Enforce stop-work controls inspect quality and document corrective action Essential physical and work demands Meet field demands applicable to supervised work including walking uneven track areas Communicate clearly in noisy outdoor environments and observe changing hazards Travel to jobs and work extended or irregular schedules as lawfully scheduled Perform emergency and field support tasks within personal qualification Minimum qualifications Ability to understand and follow safety instructions; reliable attendance; job-related experience or ability to complete PLEX training; licenses, endorsements, medical qualification, and driving record only when required by assigned duties. $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
