In these roles, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on commercial construction projects. Depending on experience and position, responsibilities may also include supervising crews, coordinating jobsite activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on commercial construction projects. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings. Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, panel installations, lighting installations, and other commercial electrical work. Ensure all electrical installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local regulations, and company safety standards. Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment. Work independently and collaboratively with electricians, apprentices, foremen, and project managers to complete projects efficiently. Assist in guiding and mentoring apprentices and helpers while maintaining quality workmanship. Communicate material needs, project updates, and potential issues to supervisors. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA regulations.

Additional Foreman Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate electrical crews on commercial construction sites. Plan daily work activities, delegate tasks, and monitor jobsite progress. Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades to maintain project schedules. Oversee material needs, manpower allocation, and installation quality. Ensure projects are completed according to specifications, safety standards, and deadlines. Identify potential challenges and proactively develop solutions to keep projects moving. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial electrical construction. Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, installation methods, and NEC requirements. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Experience with conduit bending, wiring, electrical panels, lighting systems, and troubleshooting. Proficiency with electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and safe electrical work practices. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic. Journeyman electrical license preferred. Previous crew leadership and supervisory experience required for Foreman candidates. $32.00 - $50.00 per hour
