Sub Contractor/Laborer Carter Carpentry Location:

Greater Bangor, Maine area Carter Carpentry is looking for a dependable, hardworking Sub Contractors experienced in Carpentry to join our team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is comfortable working on a variety of projects. Our work ranges from carpentry, construction, installation, demolition, remodeling, painting, job site cleanups and overall general labor. No two days are necessarily the same, so we're looking for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and ready to work. Job Responsibilities Assist with carpentry and construction/remodeling projects through Carter Carpentry Cutting, measuring, sanding, assembling, and finishing wood products Use hand tools, power tools, saws, and other woodworking/carpentry equipment Assist with installations and job-site work Load, unload, move, and organize materials Maintain a clean and safe workshop and job site Follow project specifications and instructions Work independently when appropriate and as part of a team Perform general labor and other project-related duties as needed Work multiple job sites throughout the day if needed (reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is strongly preferred, but not required) We're Looking for

Someone Who Is:

Reliable and punctual Hardworking and self-motivated Comfortable with physical, hands-on work Able to follow directions and pay attention to detail Willing to learn new skills Able to work safely with tools and equipment Comfortable working in a woodworking shop and/or on job sites Capaple of producing quality, lasting work Able to complete daily time sheets correctly and turn them in on time every week A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is strongly preferred! Experience Previous experience in woodworking, carpentry, construction, remodeling, demolition and general labor is preferred , but we are willing to consider the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and is willing to learn.
