Rare (if any) after-hours calls. Engineered Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced Tier 1 HVAC Service Technician and Foreman to join our team. This role is ideal for a high-level technician with strong diagnostic abilities, leadership potential, and the professionalism to deliver top-tier service. The ideal candidate will be familar with new construction projects. The Tier 1 Technician is responsible for managing new installs, advanced service work, system commissioning, customer communication, and mentoring junior installers. Service is for newly installed equipment on commercial jobs: this does not include residential service. We need a veteren HVAC tech to help manage and work on new install projects on the east side of the state. Key Responsibilities Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment, including: furnaces, split systems, package units, rooftops, zoning systems, and all aplicable ductwork. Work with high and low voltage electrical components. Assist with installations as needed including installing and hanging ductwork in new multi-family construction projects. Commission systems and complete air balancing (training provided if needed). Manage small jobs and mentor HVAC installers. Maintain clean work areas, vehicles, and documentation. Communicate effectively with customers and project managers. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of HVAC experience. Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills. Experience with zoning, rooftops, furnaces, and split systems. Ability to work with low and high voltage safely. Commissioning and air balancing experience (or willingness to learn). Valid driver's license and good driving record. EPA 608 certification required (Universal preferred). Typical Work Schedule Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM
