Streetlight General Foreman- Fayetteville, NC River City Construction Inc - 3.0 Fayetteville, NC Job Details Full-time 19 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Project team coordination Outdoor work experience Maintenance Construction industry experience Leading team collaboration initiatives Managing teams in a construction management role Managing projects Crew management Working on construction projects Full Job Description Position Purpose The role of the General Foreman of the River City Street light division is to establish and maintain a healthy, working relationship between Duke Energy and River City while remaining compliant with both Duke and River City guidelines. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks Oversee project assignments for both day and night crews. Maintain continued communication with Duke Energy and problem solve as needed. Conduct field checks on crews to ensure Duke Energy goals are met on time. Coordinate with Duke to ensure all materials needed to perform job are provided. Conduct safety meetings. Monitor weather forecast and conditions. Ensure assigned crews are properly trained to complete all tasks. Adhere to OSHA standards and requirements to ensure crews are working safely. Verify time sheets of all assigned crews and hours worked are recorded accurately. Hiring and vetting potential candidates and accessing their skills and knowledge based on positions available. Setting up lodging for assigned crews and ensuring all information is conveyed to those needing the accommodation. Organizing and maintaining all workflow folders and ensuring they are emailed to designated districts. Investigate the scene of any accident or incidents that occur involving any assigned crew members. Responsible for any disciplinary actions up to and including termination within assigned crews. All other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum of 6 years experience in line/lighting and maintenance construction Working knowledge of all aspects of construction and industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities. Ability to multitask, collaborate with others, set priorities, and take initiative. Demonstrated success supporting a team through complex project execution. Experience leading project teams and holding them accountable to project goals. Able to work 40 hours per week, overtime as required, night shifts, work out of town if needed. Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, snow. This is a safety sensitive position that requires employee to be able to pass a background check and drug screen as required for this job.
