Rye Beach Landscaping is seeking motivated and reliable Excavation Foreman/Operators to join our excavation and site work team. These are full-time, year-round positions supporting residential and commercial projects throughout the Seacoast region of New Hampshire. The ideal candidate is hardworking, willing to learn, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. During the winter months, this position will support our snow service operations.

Responsibilities:

Perform general site work, grading, drainage, utility installation, foundation excavation, septic systems, clearing, and finish work Operate heavy equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively Overseeing and direct the construction portion of jobs Manage crew of 2-3 Conduct routine preventive maintenance and equipment inspections Read and interpret plans and blueprints Accurately track and report materials used on projects Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites Follow directions from managers and relay to crews to ensure quality and accuracy Represent Rye Beach Landscaping professionally on all job sites Assist with snow removal operations during winter months

Qualifications:

Foremen required to have 2+ years of excavation/site work foreman experience Required to have 3+ years of heavy equipment experience (excavator, skid, loader, dozer) Experience with commercial and residential site work projects Strong work ethic, reliable, and positive attitude Ability to perform manual outdoor labor in all weather conditions Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Ability to direct crew members effectively Familiarity with power tools and small equipment (compactors, saws, pumps, etc.) Ability to read plans and blueprints (required) Valid driver's license (required) Snow removal experience (preferred) Rye Beach Landscaping offers competitive hourly rates, paid time off, and a full benefits package to eligible employees.
