This role is responsible for coordinating subcontractors and crews, managing project schedules, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with Company Safety Policies and applicable OSHA regulations. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership and construction management skills with a practical, field-oriented approach. This individual must be comfortable managing jobsite operations while also being willing to perform hands-on construction work when necessary to address project needs, resolve field issues, and keep projects moving forward. The successful candidate will lead by example, take ownership of project outcomes, and promote a safe, productive, and quality-focused work environment. Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities on commercial and residential projects, ensuring work is completed according to project schedules, plans, specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and laborers to maintain productivity, quality, and efficient project execution. Monitor project progress, identify scheduling or manpower challenges, and implement solutions to keep work on track. Review construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of project requirements. Conduct regular jobsite inspections to verify workmanship, identify deficiencies, and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and safety requirements. Enforce Company Safety Policies and applicable OSHA regulations to maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite. Identify construction issues and coordinate with management, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve them promptly. Communicate project status, field conditions, potential delays, and other construction-related issues to management. Coordinate and complete punch-list items, repairs, and corrective work to meet project quality standards. Assist with project closeout, final inspections, and turnover to ensure successful completion. Perform hands-on construction tasks as needed, including minor carpentry, demolition, repairs, installations, and other fieldwork. Provide direct support to crews when necessary to address labor shortages, resolve field issues, or maintain project schedules. Maintain professional working relationships with subcontractors, property owners, tenants, vendors, and other project personnel. Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the expected standard. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, preferably in commercial and/or residential construction. Previous experience in construction supervision, foreman, or a similar leadership role preferred. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, jobsite coordination, and project execution. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Working knowledge of applicable building codes, construction standards, and OSHA safety requirements. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage jobsite activities independently. Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate subcontractors, crews, and management. Willingness and ability to perform physical construction tasks and use hand and power tools when project conditions require it. Ability to adapt to changing project priorities and resolve field challenges in a fast-paced construction environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work on active construction sites and perform physical tasks as required. Join our team as a Commercial / Residential Construction Supervisor and play a key role in delivering quality construction projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule. We are looking for a dependable, solutions-oriented professional who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and is ready to contribute both as a supervisor and as a hands-on member of the construction team.
