This is not a full-time position. Work will depend on our current projects and may range from a few hours for a site visit to multiple days during larger renovations. This would be a good fit for someone with construction/remodeling experience who already has another job or schedule and is looking for additional part-time work. Responsibilities Visit active residential remodeling projects as needed Oversee subcontractors and make sure work follows the project scope Check quality and progress of work Coordinate different trades such as painters, tile installers, electricians, plumbers, flooring crews, etc. Identify problems or incorrect work before they become larger issues Provide progress photos and updates to the owner Communicate with homeowners regarding basic project questions when necessary Help coordinate scheduling between subcontractors Complete final walkthroughs and create punch lists Make sure jobsites remain organized and professional Qualifications Previous residential construction or remodeling experience Good understanding of multiple trades and the proper order of construction Ability to recognize quality workmanship and potential problems Reliable transportation Strong communication and organization skills Dependable and able to work independently Comfortable communicating with subcontractors and homeowners Experience supervising renovation projects is preferred

Schedule:

Part-time / on-call / as needed

Pay:

$20-$30 per hour, depending on experience

Important:

This position is primarily for project supervision and quality control. You will not normally be expected to personally perform the construction work. Our subcontractors perform the individual trades. Hours are not guaranteed and will vary based on project volume
