WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Plumbing Foreman , you will be responsible for leading jobsite operations and helping ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, on schedule, and within budget. Responsibilities include : Supervise and coordinate site personnel, technicians, apprentices, and subcontractors Lead work in accordance with approved drawings, job specifications, and project requirements Plan and organize daily work to keep projects moving efficiently Use labor, materials, equipment, and other site resources effectively Set daily and weekly production goals and monitor progress Identify project challenges, troubleshoot issues, and help develop practical solutions Document contract variations and communicate them to the Project Manager Maintain quality control standards and ensure work is completed accurately Review and confirm pending and approved submittals as needed Lead by example in following safety protocols and reinforcing a strong safety culture Conduct weekly Toolbox Talks Complete and submit required reports, logs, drawing mark-ups, and other project documentation Hold yourself and your crew accountable to Vision Mechanical's core values Communicate professionally with project managers, team members, customers, and other trade partners Perform other related duties as assigned
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is an experienced plumbing professional who can lead from the front, communicate clearly, and keep a crew productive while maintaining high standards for safety and quality.
Qualifications include:
2-5 years of experience leading a crew or group of technicians Journeyman's license required City of Reading Journeyman's license preferred Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and job specifications Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to use jobsite technology, including tablets, laptops, phone apps, and related tools Valid driver's license Ability to meet Act 34 and Act 151 background check requirements, as well as FBI clearance requirements Commitment to safety, teamwork, professionalism, and accountability
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$35.00-$45.00/hour. Base salary offering will be commensurate with experience and skillset.
