Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Foreman with a minimum of eight to ten years of comprehensive experience in managing large-scale construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee daily site operations, coordinate project activities, and ensure that construction work adheres to safety standards, quality specifications, and project schedules. This role demands strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a thorough understanding of construction management practices to deliver projects efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supervising teams, interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining effective communication among all stakeholders to achieve project goals. Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction crews on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to guide on-site activities. Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or Prolog to ensure timely completion. Monitor daily site operations, enforce OSHA and federal safety regulations, and implement construction safety management protocols. Manage subcontractors and vendors, overseeing contracts, procurement processes, and quality control measures. Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to design plans, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. Collaborate with project managers to develop and update construction schedules; manage budgets and resource allocation effectively. Supervise the interpretation of technical drawings and ensure accurate implementation on-site. Oversee the management of construction documentation including change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and progress reports. Facilitate effective communication among team members, clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all applicable construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety regulations. Qualifications Minimum of eight to ten years of progressive experience in construction site supervision or management roles within commercial or heavy civil projects. Proven expertise in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P3 (Primavera), Prolog, HeavyBid or similar tools. Must have experience with site management software and be computer literate. Strong knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety requirements. Demonstrated ability in managing teams effectively within a fast-paced construction environment. Extensive experience in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, project scheduling, and construction drawing review. Skilled in managing contracts, budgets, project scheduling, quality control processes, and safety protocols. Familiarity with heavy civil pipeline projects is a plus; experience with OHMmeters for electrical testing is advantageous. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead crews confidently while maintaining high safety standards. Strong understanding of construction regulations related to commercial projects; experience supervising diverse teams on large-scale sites. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
