About PV Source PV Source is a Brookshire-based industrial and commercial site-maintenance contractor serving West Houston, Katy, Brookshire, Fulshear, Sealy, Waller and surrounding communities. We help property owners, facility managers, contractors and commercial organizations solve practical outdoor site problems, including drainage, erosion, grading, aggregate roads, fencing, stormwater, concrete repairs, vegetation management, site cleanup and corrective civil work. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Working Foreman / Equipment Operator to lead construction teams and operate heavy machinery on diverse project sites. This role combines hands-on equipment operation with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, excellent team leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of construction safety regulations and technical drawings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage crews, oversee daily operations, and contribute to the successful delivery of civil construction and maintenance projects. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and trenchers with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Supervise and manage construction crews, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient workflow on-site. Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to guide project execution. Coordinate construction using proactive communication with other employees and customers. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets project standards and regulatory requirements. Enforce OSHA safety standards and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all team members. Collaborate with project manager on budgeting, procurement, and contract management. Review construction plans regularly for accuracy and coordinate schedule updates or adjustments as needed. Coordinate subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and adherence to project specifications. Maintain detailed records of daily activities, safety incidents, equipment maintenance, and project progress. Requirements Proven experience in construction site management with a strong background in heavy equipment operation. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of federal OSHA safety regulations and construction safety management practices. Familiarity with construction scheduling techniques and project coordination processes. Strong communication skills for effective management of crews and coordination with customers and other authorities. Experience with civil construction projects or commercial/industrial construction is highly desirable. Valid certifications in OSHA safety standards; additional certifications in management or specialized equipment operation are a plus.
