Overview Join our dynamic team as an Independent Contractor Plumber, where you will bring your expertise to a variety of construction and plumbing projects. This role offers the flexibility to work on diverse sites, from commercial remodels to new construction, ensuring plumbing systems are installed, maintained, and repaired efficiently and safely. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will be essential in delivering high-quality results that meet industry standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks with precision to ensure leak-proof connections. Conduct remodeling projects by replacing or upgrading existing plumbing fixtures and systems. Utilize construction site experience to manage heavy lifting, site cleanup, and adherence to safety protocols. Apply mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems when necessary to support integrated building services. Use basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations required during installation or repairs. Qualifications Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machinery. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Knowledge of HVAC systems, remodeling techniques, carpentry basics, and handyman skills is a plus. Physical ability for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces for extended periods. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred for site access and material transportation. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with basic math proficiency for precise measurements and calculations.
