Commercial Electrical Foreman / Licensed Journeyman One On Electric LLC | Greater Austin Area Lead the crew. Plan the work. Stay hands-on. One On Electric LLC is hiring a licensed Texas Journeyman Electrician to take a working foreman role on commercial projects. We need someone who can turn electrical plans into a clear daily work plan, keep a crew productive, and handle installations alongside the team. We're a locally owned electrical contractor serving the Greater Austin area, with jobsites ranging from Kyle to Killeen. Our projects include commercial construction, renovations, expansions, and electrical upgrades. Your role on the jobsite You'll help keep work moving from layout through completion. That means organizing daily assignments, making sure the crew has the materials it needs, checking installation quality, and communicating progress and problems before they affect the schedule.

Responsibilities include:

Lead daily electrical work and assign tasks to electricians and apprentices. Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to plan upcoming work. Perform commercial installations, including conduit, conductors, lighting, devices, panels, and equipment. Coordinate electrical activities with project supervision and other trades. Track material needs and communicate shortages or delivery requirements. Troubleshoot field conditions and bring practical solutions to project leadership. Train apprentices and give clear direction on workmanship and safe work practices. Check completed work for compliance with plans, applicable codes, and company standards. Keep project leadership informed about progress, obstacles, and staffing needs. What you bring A current Texas Journeyman Electrician License. At least four years of hands-on commercial electrical experience. The ability to read electrical drawings and lay out work accurately. Strong commercial installation and troubleshooting skills. Working knowledge of the NEC and electrical safety practices. The ability to give clear instructions, organize work, and hold a crew accountable. Reliable transportation to jobsites throughout our service area. Previous foreman or crew leadership experience is preferred. Experienced journeymen ready to take on more responsibility are also encouraged to apply. Pay, benefits, and schedule Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
