Summary:
Howard Kane Plumbing Co., Inc. is hiring an experienced Commercial Plumbing Foreman to lead field crews and oversee project execution. This position is responsible for managing labor, productivity, safety, and quality according to company standards, specifications and plumbing codes while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and lead field crews (Journeymen & Apprentices) Plan and manage daily/weekly work schedules Ensure projects stay on schedule and within labor budgets Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower Maintain high-quality installation standards Enforce OSHA and company safety policies Communicate daily with Project Managers and Field Leadership Track production, labor hours, and job progress
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages two or more subordinate supervisors who directly supervise personnel, skilled labor or subcontractors. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to conduct instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Vo-Tech School Training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 6+ years of commercial plumbing experience and 2+ years in a leadership/foreman role.
Certificates and Licenses:
Current Journeyman license Valid driver's license 10 Hour OSHA Certification, 30 Hour Certification is highly desirable

Work Environment:
Commercial construction sites Exposure to weather, heavy equipment, heights, and confined spaces Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday (overtime as needed based on project demands)
